The society provides and advertises a public monthly lecture programme relating to all aspects of the history of belper and the region. Provides public exhibitions, and has published several books. We have amassed, conserved and catalogued a huge collection of photographs of the area, a large collections of archive documents and of historic artifacts which are used for education and research.
