Deaf awareness: ne runs a series of sessions and activities from the linskill centre, north shields, to help raise awareness of issues impacting on deaf and hard of hearing people. These session include sign language, lipreading, tinnitus support, deaf awareness training and deaf sports. Hearing induction loops, speech to text and bsl/english interpreters are used as appropriate.
