The university of the third age (u3a) is a network of local associations providing social, cultural and learning opportunities for retired and semi-retired people at minimal cost. There are over 1000 u3as, supported by a national organisation, the third age trust, with over 375,000 members.Activities are run by and for members, who share their interests and skills.
