We have come together to revive the memory of, and spread the word about our very own and nationally very significant suffragist elizabeth wolstenholme elmy who lived in congleton from 1867 until her death in 1918. Our vision is to ensure that her place in history is known locally, nationally and internationally, and in particular, to create a lasting memorial to her in the town.
