The friends of cannizaro park was founded in 1997 and works with merton council to protect this 300 year old grade ii* listed garden. The activities of the friends include a volunteer group to undertake garden maintenance; funding of and fund-raising for planting and restoration; providing information on the park and organizing guided walks for the public.
