To receive subscriptions, donations and bequests and to pay donations to any body or institution established for solely charitable purposes whether masonic or non-masonic, and to assist members of the gippeswyk lodge and the wives, children and other dependants of such persons being in need of financial assistance, by making grants or i n such other ways as the trustees shall think fit.
