To promote the public benefit by social inclusion, and physical, mental and emotional welfare in harlow hill, harrogate and surrounding areas to encourage adults ( particularly but not exclusive men) who may otherwise become socially excluded or isolated through age, retirement, redundancy, incapacity, bereavement or boredom to meet on a regular basis, engaging in constructive pursuits together.
