Social aid supports charitable activities carried out in connexion with the church of england in the diocese of hereford, particularly: the promotion of temperance and higher standards of moral life in individuals, family and community; the restoration of the intemperate or delinquent and those addicted to drugs, alcohol or gambling or otherwise needing help; the relief of the consequent distress.
