The pta sets out to provide "extras" for the school that statutory funds do not allow for. Examples include xmas and leavers' presents/party, play equipment and contributions to assist the cost of school trips. Each class is also given an annual allowance, to spend as they wish. It is hoped that the various fund-raising activities help to enhance the parent/parent and parent/teacher relationships.
