Prior to that the activities included organising annual navratri and jalaram jayanti celebrations, organising sunday school classes teaching indian languages gujarati and hindi, indian dance classes: kathak, bharat natyam, folk dances of india, and music classes in harmonium, sitar and tabla, and vocal singing
