Established in 1993 longbenton youth project (lyp), a voluntary, not for profit organisation,has a proven track record of working with disengaged hard to reach young people mainly aged 13-25 yrs, external evaluations have shown that lyp can engage socially excluded young people who mistrust authority and fall through the gaps in services. Lyp works successfully with around 120 young people p/a.
