This organisation is non profit-making, non-religious and non-political. Its aim is to promote and support the benefits of learning in later life through self help learning. The third age is open to all in their third age at a time when they are no longer in full employment. Members promote the values of life long learning and the positive attributes of belonging to the u3a.
