The trustees meet once or twice a year to consider applications from students who wish to further their education within the jewellery trade. An award is given to enable a student to continue with his/her studies when he/she is responsible for finding the fee and it has become very difficult or impossible to do so. Awards are made to help a student with the cost of a course or apprenticeship.
