The team provides personnel to support the police as required to search for and rescue members of the public who are missing and/or injured in rural and semi-rural areas in the south west of england. The team can mount an immediate and totally self-sufficient search & rescue operation at any time of day or night with trained search managers, medics and search & rescue personnel and equipment.
