Southport photographic society aims to advance the education of the public in the theory and practice of photography as an art. To further this aim the society organises:(i) public exhibitions of photographs, photographic art and apparatus. (ii) public lectures and demonstrations of all aspects of photography. (iii) public outings to places of photograhic interest.
