'cursillo' is an international movement of the church which began in spain around 1949 based on experiences of pilgrimage to santiago de compostella.. It is a way by which christians experience a sense of pilgrimage and growth through, initially, a three day weekend, led and supported by lay people and clergy. Southwark anglican cursillo operates throughout the anglican diocese of southwark.
