The charity was established in 2015 to protect community centres', and other community assets, (that provide social benefit) from closure due to local government spending cuts. Its has since evolved to become darlington's voluntary infrastructure organisation, filling the gap left by the closure of evolution, darlington's previous infrastructure organisation which perminantly closed in 2015.
