The charity ran a poetry competition for the 15th year running, in-conjunction with wirral libraries & wirral poetry festival. Wirral residents aged under 18 were invited to submit a poem on the subject of " hope". Over 380 outstanding entries were received. The winners & their families attended an awards evening hosted by local poets levi tafari & john hughes at birkenhead library in july 2024 .
