The hornby trust has succeeded in the development of a permanent frank hornby heritage centre in maghull and has created a display of meccano, hornby & dinky items covering the initial invention of meccano in 1900 to frank hornby's death in 1936. A permanent heritage centre that includes artwork, ephemera, heritage trails and educational activities working with other notable museums and societies.
