The society provides opportunity for local people to participate in the study & practice of choral music both secular and religious. The society also aims to bring choral music to audiences from godalming and surrounding areas with a view to encouraging greater musical knowledge and appreciation as well as re-inforcing the sense of community amongst local residents.
