The hulse towers hedgehog refuge is comprised of a purpose-built hedgehog hospital where sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs are treated and cared for until they are well enough to be released back into the wild (or, in the case of some permanently disabled hedgehogs, rehomed into a protected habitat). Outdoor hutches are used for acclimatisation prior to release. We work closely with local vets.
