The charity is in place to run and maintain the lomas hall which is a village hall left in trust to the people of stannington in 1952 by miss flora lomas. The hall is used by fourteen local groups on a regular basis by people of all ages ranging from a mother and toddler group to the women's fellowship. It also available for occasional use events.
