The maharajah's well trust is responsible for the upkeep of the historic monument which is a well, a cottage and a cherry orchard. The well has an indian style superstructure. Alongside it is a cottage which was originally the warden's. Beyond that is a cherry orchard which is a natural place where the public can enjoy walking or picnics and which contains a playground.
