To promote the efficiency of the royal regiment of artillery and in particular to maintain, uphold and promote the traditions of the regiment and to perpetuate a permanent record of its deeds and the ordnance of all nations by preserving, exhibiting and displaying and making available for public inspection the royal artillery historical collection,any additions thereto and other similar objects.
