The virgil society usually holds five public meetings each year in central london which are attended without charge by members and non-members. Meetings include presentations of paper, discussion sessions and readings from the works of virgil. A newsletter is published for members twice a year. Members range from those who are virgilian scholars to those who have a basic knowledge of latin.
