Wandle heritage is involved in the day to day running of the wheelhouse at merton abbey mills. This takes the form of opening up the building every weekend on a regular basis.Giving guided tours to schools and interested groups. Maintenance of the waterwheel, the building, and our duties include clearing the river of rubbish and monitoring eel migration up our eel pass for london zoo.
