Weston park was the first municipal park in sheffield and is one of the most significant historic parks and is very popular with local residents and visitors to the city. Heritage lottery has enabled the full restoration of the park to take place. There is an active friends of group who work closely with parks and countryside officers to monitor and improve the site.
