Wharfedale agricultural society promotes farming and agriculture at otley show, held annually in may. Exhibits include cattle, sheep, horses, dogs, poultry, rabbits, produce, handicrafts & young farmers classes. Otley show is the oldest one day agricultural show in the country, established in 1796.
