The windermere foodbank operates in the area from grasmere in the north to grange-over-sands in the south, supporting the area not covered by the barrow/ulverston foodbank on the west and the kendal foodbank on the east. In co-operation with such organisations as cumbria c. C. Social services and the c.A.B. We give emergency food to people in need. Periods of help have been increased in pandemic.
